Muslins (Double gauze) is a 100% cotton fabric made of two woven, cotton-gauze-like layers.
Muslin fabric is lightweight, airy, soft, and pleasant against the skin. This fabric has excellent moisture-regulating properties, and it is also breathable and airy, yet not see-through. Its special structure means it does not need ironing and dries very quickly.

SUITABLE FOR:

  • summer dresses
  • shirts and blouses;
  • rompers;
  • airy summer trousers;
  • blankets;
  • diapers
  • and many, many other projects

Please note! To ensure a precise and straight edge on muslin fabric, we cut it on the grain (fabric thread) or tear it. This process helps preserve the fabric structure and avoid deformation. Please take this characteristic into account when ordering the fabric.

Care

-Wash at up to 40°C
-Do not bleach
-Iron at a maximum temperature of 110 °C
-Do not dry clean
-Do not tumble dry
-Before sewing, we recommend washing or dampening the fabric and ironing it with a steam iron to check whether the fabric shrinks!
