Choosing the thread and needle size

Adhesive size is chosen according to the leather thickness, hardness, the thread used, and the desired appearance of the seam. The thicker and harder the leather, the larger the adhesive size required.

ℹ️ Note on the appearance of the seam

The described seam slant applies to machines with the needle thread inserted from the side. On machines where the thread is inserted into the needle from the front, the visual slant of the seam may differ significantly. If a straighter seam is needed, a more suitable option may be LL cutting head.
