Gabardine is a classic, durable fabric with a beautiful drape This premium suit fabric is an excellent choice for a variety of sewing projects. Its extra-durable and lightweight material makes it ideal for both clothing and home textile items. 
Garments sewn from this fabric wrinkle minimally and are easy to iron and care for. Suitable for sewing dresses, skirts, trousers, jackets, and tablecloths, curtains.

Sewing recommendations:

Needle type: It is best to use sewing needles with a sharp point, such as universal needles in sizes 70/10 or 80/12.
Thread: It is recommended to use polyester thread, which will provide maximum strength and elasticity.
Sewing technique: Polyester fabric is easy to work with, and it holds seams well, so it is suitable for both beginners and experienced sewers.


Care

-Washing: Machine wash at 30°C, gentle cycle.

-Bleaching: Do not bleach.

-Ironing: Iron on low heat.

-Dry cleaning: Dry clean with any solvent except trichloroethylene.

-Drying: Tumble dry on a normal cycle at low heat.
