Sewing tips:

To sew with cotton jersey knit, it is recommended to useJerseyorStretchneedles , which are specially designed for stretch fabrics. These needles have a rounded tip that allows them to easily glide between knit fibers without damaging the fabric. Needle size usually depends on the fabric thickness, but for cotton knitwear, the often suitable sizes are 70/10or80/12.
