Cotton loopback knit (French Terry) is a soft, comfortable and slightly elastic fabric that contains elastane.

 On one side the fabric is smooth, while on the other side it has a small loop structure that provides extra comfort and warmth.

This fabric is ideal for sportswear, leisurewear, hats, sweaters, trousers and children's clothing.

Loopback knit is breathable and provides natural air circulation, making it a great choice for both cooler and warmer days. A practical and durable fabric with enough stretch for comfortable everyday wear.

Sewing tips:

To sew with cotton knit, it is recommended to use Jersey or Stretch needles if the knit is very stretchy, then it is recommended to use Super Stretch needles, which are specially designed for elastic fabrics. These needles have a rounded tip that allows them to easily slip between the knit fibers without damaging the fabric. Needle size is usually   70/10 or 80/12.
