Viscose fabrics stand out for their pleasant feel on the skin and excellent drape. The viscose fabrics in our shop are woven, lightweight, and have a cooling effect.
Viscose is a natural-origin fiber obtained from cellulose. The best qualities of this fabric are a pleasantly soft texture, easy drape, and relatively simple care.
This viscose fabric is most often used for sewing airy garments, which makes it an excellent fabric for making dresses, skirts, blouses, breezy clothing, and nightwear. By itself it is not warming, which is why it is popular for summer clothing.
Sewing tips:
To sew viscose fabric, it is recommended to use microtex needles. Thanks to their especially sharp point, the needle is suitable for high thread-density fabrics
