Viscose fabrics stand out for their pleasant feel on the skin and excellent drape. The viscose fabrics in our shop are woven; they are lightweight and have a cooling effect.
Viscose is a natural-origin fiber derived from cellulose. Its best qualities are a pleasantly soft texture, easy drape, and relatively simple care.
This viscose fabric is most often used for sewing airy garments, so it’s an excellent fabric for making dresses, skirts, blouses, lightweight clothing, and nightwear. By themselves they are not warming, which is why they are popular for making summer clothes.
Sewing tips:
To sew viscose fabric, it is recommended to use microtex needles. Thanks to their especially sharp point, these needles are suitable for high thread-count fabrics
