This elegant Viscrepe knit fabric with a crepe texture is an excellent choice for sophisticated and comfortable garments. Its composition – 82% viscose, 15% polyester, and 3% elastane – provides a light drape, stretch, and comfort suitable for both everyday and formal wear.
The fabric weight of 180 g/m² and width of 150 cm offer a versatile thickness suitable for various sewing projects such as dresses, blouses, skirts, or scarves. Thanks to the natural viscose, the fabric feels pleasant to the touch and ensures high wearing comfort, while polyester and elastane add durability and stretch properties.
Sewing tips:
When sewing with knit fabric, it is recommended to use Jersey or Stretch needles. These needles have a rounded tip that allows them to easily slide between knit fibers without damaging the fabric. Needle size usually depends on the fabric thickness, but for this knit fabric suitable sizes are 70/10 or 80/12.
