Cotton loop knit (French Terry) is a soft, comfortable and slightly stretchy fabric containing elastane. It has a slight nap on the reverse side and is especially pleasant to the touch.

On one side the fabric is smooth, while on the other side it has a small loop structure that provides extra comfort and warmth.

This fabric is ideal for sportswear, casual wear, hats, sweaters, trousers and children's clothing.

Loop knit is breathable and provides natural air circulation, making it a great choice for both cooler and warmer days. A practical and durable fabric with enough elasticity for comfortable everyday wear.

Sewing tips:

To sew with cotton knits, it is recommended to use Jersey or Stretch needles if the knit is very stretchy then it is recommended to use Super Stretch needles, which are specially designed for elastic fabrics. These needles have a rounded tip that allows them to easily glide between the knit fibers without damaging the fabric. Needle size is usually 70/10 or 80/12.
