Seeing this turban at the fair - I knew that this little project would make it onto my to-do list.
So it has happened that the evening is free and the time has finally come to make it happen.
I chose to sew this turban from natural cotton waffle fabric. I think it will also look beautiful and practical made from 100% linen or bamboo terry fabric.
The turbans can be fitted with rubber to fit more snugly.
Required time: ~30 minutes
YOU WILL NEED:
- Turban pattern
- approximately 0.5 m x 1.5 m fabric with good absorbency (Waffle fabric, flax)
- 2 m elastic rubber approximately 0.8 mm wide
- small rubber or cord for fastening
- 1 button approximately ø 2.0 cm
- sewing machine
- scissors
- Data buttons for sewing
- kniepadatas
- clamping needle or rubber insertion aid
- Thread
